My passion is helping individuals overcome mental and emotional suffering associated with various aspects of the human condition. I practice a holistic, individualized, and comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment-planning that centers on a person's unique experiences, symptoms, and goals in order to alleviate symptoms and address root causes. I consider numerous factors that contribute to psychiatric symptoms and I emphasize the dynamic interplay between mind, body, and lifestyle that influences the biological, psychological, and social facets of illness and wellness.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, integrative treatment, TMS, and women's mental health. I diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, including disorders of mood, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, attention deficit and hyperactivity, and addiction. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples.

I consider the different factors that contribute to mental health, including stress, inflammation, hormonal factors, neurophysiology, relationships, trauma, nutrition, physical activity, and sleep, among others. I apply psychotherapeutic techniques derived from psychodynamic, existential, cognitive-behavioral, and cognitive processing therapies.
